DiamondGlow® FAQ

How Often Should I Get a DiamondGlow?

How often you schedule DiamondGlow depends on your skin and skincare goals. Some patients enjoy treatments about once a month for regular skin maintenance, while others schedule them as needed or before special events.

Your provider can recommend a schedule that works best for your skin.

Does DiamondGlow Hurt?

DiamondGlow is generally a comfortable treatment. You may feel the diamond tip gently exfoliating the skin along with light suction as the device moves across the treatment area.

The intensity can be customized based on your skin and comfort level.

Is There Downtime After DiamondGlow?

There is typically minimal downtime following DiamondGlow. Your skin may appear slightly pink immediately afterward, but most patients can return to their normal activities relatively quickly.

Many patients notice smoother, brighter-looking skin following treatment.

Can I Get DiamondGlow Before a Special Event?

Yes. DiamondGlow can be a great treatment before a wedding, vacation, photos, or other special event because it provides exfoliation and hydration with minimal downtime.

If it’s your first treatment, ask your provider about the best timing before your event.

What Serum Is Used During DiamondGlow?

DiamondGlow uses SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serums that can be selected based on your individual skin concerns.

Your provider will evaluate your skin and choose the appropriate serum to target concerns such as hydration, brightness, clarity, or signs of aging.

What Should I Do After DiamondGlow?

Keep your skincare routine gentle immediately following treatment and avoid aggressive exfoliation or irritating products until your skin is ready for them.

Keep your skin hydrated, avoid excessive sun exposure, and wear broad-spectrum sunscreen daily. Your provider will give you any additional instructions based on your skin.

What Is the Difference Between DiamondGlow and HydraFacial?

Both treatments cleanse, exfoliate, and refresh the skin, but they use different technology.

DiamondGlow® uses a precision diamond tip to physically resurface the skin while simultaneously extracting debris and infusing the skin with a selected SkinMedica Pro-Infusion Serum.

HydraFacial® uses its vortex-based technology to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate the skin and can be customized with different boosters and enhancements.

Both are excellent options for maintaining healthy, glowing skin. Your provider can help you choose based on your skin, concerns, and treatment goals.
