Latisse® is a treatment for short or thin lashes that is very effective.  Your lashes will be darker, fuller, and longer in just three or four months.  Latisse® is the sole product approved by the FDA for the treatment of short or thin lashes.  Other products that claim they can achieve similar results are not approved by the FDA.  

Latisse® is applied topically every night with a sterile applicator.  It works with continual application over time, and does not take much effort to get the desired result of thicker, longer lashes.  Studies show 78% of patients who use Latisse® have a significant increase in lash thickness, darkness, and length after only eight weeks of use.

Latisse® does have some possible side effects.  An itching sensation in your eyes along with eye redness are the side effects that are most common when doing this eyelash treatment.  Only 4% of all patients reported these side effects. Latisse® can cause, although less commonly, side effects on the skin where the topical treatment was applied.  This includes, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, skin darkening, and also redness of the eyelids. You must use Latisse® on a regular basis if you want your lashes to stay dark, full, and long.  Otherwise, if you stop using it, your lashes will eventually return to how they used to look.
